WJ King are Motability Partners of CACT and Andy's new Zafira Tourer was purchased via his own personal Motability agreement. Andy is one of the country's most experienced Paralympic wheelchair rugby players, having represented Great Britain in the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games, the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, where he captained the team and finally at London 2012, following which he retired from the sport.
The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair. In fact, since the Scheme was set up in 1978, Motability has helped over 3 million people get mobile with a new vehicle.
Speaking about his relationship with WJ King, Andy (pictured here with WJ King's Duncan Enwright and Ben Raby) said ''as Charlton Athletic Community Trust's Disability and Mental Health Ambassador, I'm delighted to have extended my relationship with WJ King to incorporate my own personal Motability agreement. Independence is one of the central themes that the CACT stands for and as Motability Partners, WJ King empowers people with disabilities (like me) to lead an independent lifestyle through affordable vehicle ownership. The team at WJ King are extremely knowledgeable and professional, ensuring that all stages of this process have been hassle free''.
Andy concluded by adding ''I couldn't be happier with my new Vauxhall Zafira Tourer and I'd strongly recommend WJ King to anyone looking for an experienced Motability dealership''.
Commenting on the relationship with Andy Barrow, Jeff Conway, WJ King's Group Sales Manager said ''we're very pleased to continue our excellent relationship with Andy, whose achievements in Wheelchair Rugby on the International stage are truly exceptional. We're very proud of our partnership with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and we're delighted that Andy chose our award-winning Motability Scheme for the supply of his new Vauxhall Zafira Tourer.''
