Quiz Night success for CADSA

WJ King, a family run firm of over 50 years standing who operate six franchises from 12 branches, recently joined forces again with the Charlton Athletic Disabled Supporters Association (CADSA) to sponsor their fundraising Quiz Night which was held in the Crossbars lounge at The Valley, Charlton Athletic on Friday 14th November 2014. CADSA was formed in June 1999 to represent the interest of the disabled supporters of Charlton Athletic FC and to build on the excellent initiatives the club have developed over recent times.

WJ King, the Official Motability Partners of Charlton Athletic Community Trust, also feature regularly on the big screen at The Valley on matchdays. Special offers are also regularly made available to Charlton Athletic season ticket holders and Red Card members.

CADSA committee member Tony Farrell said ‘’it was a great evening which raised much needed funds for CADSA which will help with future projects to benefit disabled supporters. Congratulations go to the winning team, consisting of Committee Member Heather Robertson's friends and family. On behalf of CADSA I would like to say a huge thank you to Derrick Medlen and his colleagues at WJ King for their very kind support, it is always much appreciated.’’

Derrick Medlen, Sales Manager at WJ King’s Vauxhall Bexleyheath branch said ‘’we at WJ King were delighted to sponsor the CADSA Quiz night at the Valley for the fourth consecutive year. Our team consisted of Sales Managers Brian Florence, Tim Pennington and myself along with sales consultants Ron Graham, Steve Luton and Ashley Ide. We finished in a respectable mid-table position, and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The whole event was a huge success and we are already looking forward to next year!’’
