Successful relationship extended

WJ King, a family run firm of over 50 years standing who now operate six franchises from 12 branches throughout South East London and Kent; has renewed its successful relationship as the 'Official Motability Partners' of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) - the UK's largest football related charity - for a fourth consecutive year. This new agreement will see WJ King's Motability Scheme continue to support the acclaimed work of CACT's 'Disability and Mental Health programme', which includes the award winning 'Charlton Upbeats', the Down's Syndrome sports club.

WJ King’s Motability Scheme enables disabled people to exchange either their Higher Rate Mobility component of Disability Living Allowance or their War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement to obtain a new car. As in the past two years, WJ King and CACT will work together to bring the best motoring offers to participants in CACT’s disability and mental health programmes and to their families.

Jeff Conway, WJ King’s Group Sales Manager said ‘we are delighted to extend our agreement with such a respected organisation as the Charlton Athletic Community Trust whose work in disability is renowned. We have built an excellent working relationship with CACT’s disability officers over the past two years and we look forward to developing this even further over the next 12 months’.

Jason Morgan, CACT’s CEO commented, ‘It is fantastic that such a well known local company as WJ King have signed up as our Motability Partners for a third consecutive year to support our important work within the disabled community. We are justifiably proud of what we have achieved in our disability and mental health programme and having the continued support of such a company as WJ King can only help us to enhance the service that we provide.’
