Key Protection has been designed to reduce the distress and worry of losing your keys, as well as the expense.
Significant benefits:
- 24 hour 365 days a year nationwide coverage
- Keys lost or stolen abroad
- 3 days car hire [up to £30 inc VAT per day] when stranded by the theft or loss of your car keys
- £25 towards any call out charge when your keys are locked in your vehicle or broken in the lock of your vehicle
- £10 reward paid directly to the finder
- Up to £350 inc VAT for any vehicle key lost or stolen, and/or vehicle lock replacement, for the duration of the policy
- Up to 36 months commencing from date of purchase
Significant exclustions:
- Lock replacement when only parts need changing
- Malicious damage, acts of vandalism or malicious theft
- Damage to locks by wear and tear, mechanical or electrical breakdown, cleaning, repairing, restoring or anything which happens gradually
- Must be reported within 48-hours to Police and Key Protection
- Must obtain Police incident number

GAP Insurance.
GAP insurance is a valuable add-on for your vehicle. Don’t leave yourself open to risk of being out of pocket, protect your investment. GAP Insurance provides an excellent opportunity for an insurance policy which represents real value and protection in case of an accident.
What is GAP Insurance?
In the event of theft or a total loss, motor insurers will only cover the market value of the vehicle at the time it was written off. This leaves customers exposed.
GAP insurance makes up the shortfall by covering the difference between the original purchase price of the car and the motor insurance settlement, making buying a like for-like replacement more affordable.
If the customer used finance, we’ll cover the amount remaining on their agreement, whichever is greater.
Here is an example:
You paid £27,000 to purchase your car. After a period of time, the vehicle is written off. Your motor insurer will only pay out the market value of the vehicle at the time, which could be £20,250. A GAP pay-out of £6,750 makes up the difference.
Product features:
- Cover available for vehicles up to 8 years of age / 80,000 miles at policy inception
- Cover available for vehicle’s valued between £10,000 - £150,000
- Covers the difference between insurance payout and the original purchase price, or the amount needed to settle the outstanding finance, whichever is higher.
- Minimum payout = £400
- Maximum payout = £75,000
- Contributes up to £500 towards any insurance excess
- Provides £20 per day (up to 7 days) to cover the cost of a rental vehicle if the customer’s vehicle is written off and their motor insurer has not supplied one.

Contact our Customer Service team to validate your claim and arrange for one of our expert repair technicians to come to you at home or work at a time that suits. The best way to submit your claim is via our SMART app but if you prefer you can go online or give us a call.
Should any claim not qualify as a SMART repair, or an invisible result cannot be achieved, up to a £250 contribution will
be paid towards a body-shop repair (upon receipt of a valid invoice).Trusted experts:

Exclusions: This policy does not cover panel replacement, stickers and decals, beading and mouldings, cracked or dented bumpers or their replacement. Repairs will only be undertaken if an invisible result can be achieve using SMART technology, bodyshop repairs are excluded. Third party liability is excluded.

APG Assist - Roadside Assistance & Recovery.
APG Assist is a Roadside Assistance & Recovery product, which ensures that if your vehicle breaks down we are able to offer you a dynamic emergency assistance service which operates 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year.
Roadside Assistance & Recovery.
If your vehicle suffers a breakdown, help will be sent to the scene of the breakdown and we will pay call out fees and mileage charges needed to repair or assist with the vehicle. If, in the opinion of the Recovery Operator, they are unable to repair the vehicle at the roadside the Recovery Controller will assist in the following ways:-
- Arrange for your vehicle, you and up to 5 passengers to be recovered to the nearest garage able to undertake the repair, or;
- If the above is not possible at the time of the breakdown they will arrange for your vehicle, you and up to 5 passengers to be transported to your home address or original destination.
Home Assist.
A Recovery Operator will be despatched to your home address or within a one mile radius. Attempts will be made to repair your vehicle on the spot. If a repair is not possible they will transport your vehicle to the nearest repairing garage.
